What Is The Will Of God?

Today's Prayer
Sometimes it seems like I've come so far only to end up back at a place of where I thought I had long passed. Lord, encourage my soul. Strengthen me to boldly confront the dissident behaviors of those who seemingly work against me.  Enlighten my thoughts with knowledge and wisdom of Your fundamental truths. I pray for the willingness to do Your will, despite the temptation to service mine. Let my well doing not go unnoticed or be unappreciated. I'm trying hard Lord to hold on to You, and I pray that You help me to not let go of what is right. Please, don't let me grab onto the throats of those that would persecute me. Amen and so it is.

I Will or Will I
I will not let you speak to me that way
I will not be subjected to your foolishness today
I will not let you walk around here like that
I will not contribute to treating you like a spoiled brat

Will I comprise my values just this one time

Today's Prayer
God, You've blessed me in so many ways. I'm grateful. Well, at least I try to be. I know I should be grateful. You said You will never leave or forsake me. I am grateful. I know that there is somebody else worse off than me. Lord, help me to remember that all things come from You and all situations are allowed by You. In other words, show me how to appreciate everything that is, versus lamenting over everything that isn't. Lord, I thank You for giving me life, and that more abundantly. Amen and so it is.

How You Do That There?

Today's Prayer
Lord, my to-do list is out of control. Things to do for work; things to do at home; things to do for family; things to do with friends, but I rarely add on my list things to do for God. Lord, I'm sorry. I pray that I will make more time for You in my life. Show me how to incorporate You into my everyday life as a priority and not mainly an after thought. I pray for the conviction to be steadfast and obedient to Your will. I know that life goes on around me and I must step up to the responsibilities that have been placed before me. So, I ask that You help me to address life as if I was doing it for a God Almighty. Let me give 1000% to all that is required of me. I want to be Your good and faithful servant, in whom You are well pleased. Amen and so it is.

Do You Have An Attitude?

Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. (Ephesians 4:23, 24 NLT)

Today's Prayer
Lord, no matter what I do, how much I worship, or how many times I pray; the old me seems to not want to go away.  I'm constantly battling that part of me which I call the flesh. Please help.  God, help me to stop telling lies. Not the big ones, I'm good with those; but the small ones they call the "white lies."  Help me to notice the connection between the little lie and the big lie - like; there is no God, there is only me. Lord, forgive me for even allowing myself to suggest such, even as an example. Father, I truly want to be righteous. I want to love my neighbors, and not let anger control me. I desire to use my hands for doing redeeming work and giving generously to others in need. Help me Lord. I pray that everything I say be virtuous and helpful, so that my words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. I pray that I bring honor to Your Holy Spirit by the way I live. Amen and so it is.

Today's Prayer
Lord, I Pray that You help me align my actions with my intentions. I keep getting the same results. People are upset. I hurt their feelings. I was brash. I was inconsiderate, and so forth. I don't mean to come off this way, but sometimes I do. God, please help me to do better and to be better. Show me myself from the outside-in. Teach me how to let the God in me be seen first, and allow the me in me to take a back seat. In other words, Lord, heel my pride. I want others that encounter me to be blessed, not be messed; nor their life by me to be stressed. In Your name I pray. Let it be. Amen and so it is.

Lord, I know You know my heart,
But, everybody doesn't always see that part
I know You can read my mind
But to others, my thoughts are blind

Is There More Than One?

Lord, there is none like You. I place You above all that I have and know. I pray that You establish   me as an example of one who serves in Your Sacred Service. Let love lift me high above the temporal thoughts of mankind. Let Your spirit abide in me, and make the center of my existence  eruct evidence of Your reign in my life. Father, open my eyes to see You are everything. Regardless of what name others may call You, I call You my "All in All." There is but one You. Teach me to respect and appreciate the umteem presentations of You across the world. Amen and so it is.

Lord, I pray that my mind be reconstructed so my actions can be transformed. Help me to think about life in a Godly way.  Let me not let the opinions of this world have dominion over me. Grant me the courage to live a principle centered life and accept Your precepts, those fundamental truths. Let me dwell in the presence of the Most High. I ask that You lead me and guide me along the way to love and peace beyond understanding. Amen and so it is.

Today's Prayer
What should I pray? Lord, You know my heart and my desires. You know my thoughts and my dreams. You know my past and my future. Please, teach me how to pray. Let me take enough time to be thankful and grateful for all that You've done. Fix my words to make supplications on behalf of others and not myself. Govern my solicitations to be requests of knowledge of Your will. Subject me to gain innate wisdom from Your instructions. Let my diction surrender to righteousness, obedience, self-discipline, integrity, honor, and humility. Make my salutation always encompass the principles of love, kindness, and mercy; tolerance, faith, and courage. Save my soul dear Lord. Give me a clean heart, one that pumps the blood of pureness and the sanctity of God. Amen and so it is.

Why Won't You Believe?

Today's Prayer
God, I can relate to people not believing me when I tell them how You are moving in my life. It seems quite unbelievable. I would never have thought You would allow me to achieve so much,  and in the same lifetime, be humbled and brought so low to only ascend up again in Your glory. I mean, You took me from rags to riches to almost rags again. You've shown me the view from the mountain top, and You've allowed me to lay low deep down in the valley. You've let my ego and self centeredness grow magnanimously in the presence of others. You've presented me with misfortune and experiences of deliberate betrayal. Yet, When I show up as my authentic-self, You show out tremendously. I pray Lord, that I can remember to always keep in mind how great You are despite what others around me may say or think. Let my life be a testimony of fortitude, obedience, and diligence. Amen and so it is.

Who Directs You?

Today's Prayer
Lord, I will serve You with all that I am. I give my entire being to You. I want You to direct my mind. Redirect my thinking. Let my meditation be on things that are pure and righteous. I present my body to You as a living sacrifice. I commit to giving my flesh proper nutrition and exercising my limbs to stimulate good health. I offer my soul as an empty vessel to be filled with Your spirit. I'm willing to be obedient and respond to Your beckoning. Lord, help me to tune my life into Your spirit on the strongest possible frequency. Place my light and vibrations be on a higher level of understanding. Let them be recognized from afar and draw others to You. Lord, let it be. Amen and so it is.

Who Is The King?

Today's Prayer
Lord, I know that Your word lasts forever. You are a sovereign God, who reigns supreme over everything. Truth is, I'm tired and confused, and I'm all out Lord. I've tried fasting and praying. I read Your word and I trust in You. I even go to Your house of worship for the edification of my spirit, but it's doesn't seem to be working right now. I'm tired of listening to the preacher preach at me. I'm burned out on the teachings of man about You. I need a direct word from You. I need You to show up and be present in my life like never before. I'm just being honest Lord, I don't know what else to do. Like the songwriter says, "take me to the King, I don't have much to bring. My heart is torn in pieces, it's my offering." I'm going to give You the glory despite how I feel. I pray that you reinforce my faith, make it stronger than ever before, even in the face of seemingly invincible odds. Despite how I may be feeling, I know that You alone are God, and You can fix it for me. Amen, and so it is.

Today's Prayer
I'm praying and asking for one more chance to get it right. God, please, don't let Your mercy or grace run out on me. I'm desperately hoping to make amends with my deeds instead of my words. Lord, I know I messed up. I didn't make the best decisions, and I acted out. Help me to do better the next time I'm in this situation. Forgive me for my insolence. Discharge my personal desires, and enlist Your spirit to guide me. In Your name I pray. Amen and so it is.
