If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. Today's Prayer
Lord, I see so many people really trying hard to do their best. Today I pray that You help them be the best they can be. Encourage that teacher in the classroom dealing with social and environmental issues. Inspire that young child to believe they can do more than their circumstances suggest. Renew the energy of that person being of service to others despite not receiving appreciation for doing so. Direct that leader to make sound and wise decisions in the best interest of the followers. Anoint that person You've called to minister to Your people rather it be from the pulpit, the studio, or the theatre. I pray for the best in others. Let me be an aid in bringing out the best in others around me. In Your name I pray. Amen and so it is.
So, You Wanna Be
If you want to be a ballerina
Then you must dance with grace and precision
If you want to be an athlete
Develop the technical and mental skills of that position
If you desire to fly rocket ships to outer space
Learn to calculate the speed of light as it travels from place to place
A parent or a loving spouse

A teacher or spreader of good news
Roll up your sleeves and get some good walking shoes

Bring honor, integrity, and commitment with you
