Today's Prayer
Abba, Your child needs help today. I pray that You send me a fellow believer in this life that I sometimes call struggle. Send someone who understands the challenges I face. One who has experience with waning faith, but has overcome their doubts, and You have calmed their fears. Help me to see my testimony as a source of encouragement and a necessary requirement for growth and development. Lord, I thank You and I praise You. Amen and so it is.
Better Days
I long for the time when I don't have to cry
I cherish the moment when I understand why
I hold on to the hope of knowing that it is true
God always has something better for you
When it pours down rain,
and you sometimes feel pain
Know it waters the Earth,
and life will be birthed
When it is dreary outside,
and dark in your life
Remember out of the darkness,
God created light
If you throw up your hands,
and crawl into a ball on the floor
When you think that you can't take it anymore
God sees you, and whispers quietly
This is only for today,
not for eternity
