How You Do That There?

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; (Colossians 3:23 KJV)

Today's Prayer
Lord, my to-do list is out of control. Things to do for work; things to do at home; things to do for family; things to do with friends, but I rarely add on my list things to do for God. Lord, I'm sorry. I pray that I will make more time for You in my life. Show me how to incorporate You into my everyday life as a priority and not mainly an after thought. I pray for the conviction to be steadfast and obedient to Your will. I know that life goes on around me and I must step up to the responsibilities that have been placed before me. So, I ask that You help me to address life as if I was doing it for a God Almighty. Let me give 1000% to all that is required of me. I want to be Your good and faithful servant, in whom You are well pleased. Amen and so it is.

Who has time for "or"
When you can have "and"
Who wants one bird in a bush
When you can have two in-hand

I want my cake, and
I want to eat it too
I want it all
That's what I want to do

Fame and glory
Power and respect
Money and materials
That's what I collect

Spouse and kids
Family and friends
Honored, adored, and loved
By women, children, and men

Love and laughter
Happiness and joy
Peace and fulfillment
Like a pet with a new toy

Growth and development
Knowledge and wisdom
Most of all an understanding of
Where this all comes from

Who has time for "or"
When you can have "and"
Who wants one bird in a bush
When you can have two in-hand
