Which Way Do You Go?

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. (Proverbs 9:6 KJV)

Today's Prayer
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, have mercy on me today.  Thank You for tolerating my foolishness and my spiritual immaturity. You've allowed me safe passage through my period of folly. I'm still alive. Thank You. I pray that You help me to leave my simple ways behind and not look back. I yearn to begin to live as You would have me to live, not as I want to. I ask that You teach me to use good judgment. I'm tired of making the same old mistakes over and over again. Repeatedly asking for forgiveness for identical transgressions. Give me instruction o'Lord, and help me to be wise. Impart the skills in me to be just, and increase in me the learning that only You can make me truly happy. Amen and so it is.

Time For A Change
Can I borrow some spare time
Surely you have it to give
It's being exemplified
Clearly, by the way that you live

Time do this
Time to do that
Time to swap truth for lies
Time to chew on the fat
Time to plan things you won't ever do
Time to waste with others much less important than You
Time to live fast
Time to die hard
Time to aimlessly loiter on the boulevard
Time to reflect
Time to neglect
Time for everything but,
Time to get yo azz in check

Can I borrow some spare time
Surely you have it to give
It's being exemplified
Clearly, by the way that you live
